Welcome to Round 02 of the Challenge Tires London and South East Cyclo-Cross League at Pippingford Forest, East Sussex. Paul Neville and Tim Peters are delighted to bring you the 2026 edition of the Pippingford Park race. An entirely new course for 2026. With a new parking area and a new sign on location. Please follow the signs and marshal instructions after you enter Pippingford Park, the new parking area and new sign on areas are a few hundred meters away from the 2025 edition The course is a mix of firm grassland, natural features and a newly cut path through the woods.The U12 course will remain in the first field, thus allowing spectators to see the whole race and cheer on our younger riders.
AEIGHT will be at the event to help and will have information on their range of frames, wheels and bikes, which are all made by hand, in Sussex. If you need/want a bespoke CX frame, or a set of custom off-road wheels, AEIGHT have the very best options. www.aeightbikeco.com
Race Report
Superb days racing at Pippingford Park. The sun was out, a great vibe in the event village and big thanks to Paul, Tim and his team for putting on a great event. The course was tough and bumpy, certainly favoured the big gear power riders but you also required some climbing skills too! Now that Paul and Tim have seen how this brand new course has ridden they already have plan on how to tweak for next season.

Jacobus Beylefeld from Sutton CC is the Challenge Tires Rider of the Day at R2 at Pippingford Park.

He was in the Youth race at Pippingford Park and unfortunately got the dreaded puncture in both his front and rear tyres at the same time on his second lap! Oh No! However not to be put off, he ran the rest of the lap until he got to the pits, but couldn’t continue as he had no spares wheels or inner tubes. But rather than dwell on his misfortune he then stood on the sidelines cheering on all his teammates and Friends even though he was disappointed that his race had finished early.
Now that is one fantastic attitude, well done Jacobus!
