Stanmer Park

What a fantastic start to the new season and great to be back at the ever popular Stanmer Park course in Brighton. 

The course had a good mix of long flat grass power sections, strength sapping climbs and an awesome technical switchback descent through the trees. Fantastic to see the dust rising from tyres searching for every bit of grip they could get. There were some great battles for the wins that came down to the last lap in many cases. It was a very hot day on the South Coast that got up to 27 degrees for the Senior Open Race and it was mentioned a few times that an Ice Cream van would have been most welcome and would have sold out! hmmmnnn, maybe next year!
