South East Regional Cyclo Cross Championships 2024

We have the South East Regional Cyclo Cross champs coming up on Sunday 24th November 2024 on a fantastic course and venue at Herne Hill Velodrome. It would be great to see as many riders as possible racing this great Historic event and it great to see all the best riders from the South East battle it out for the prestigious title of Regional Champion.

Herne Hill  welcomes you the South East Regional Cyclo Cross champs 2024

From Under 14 to Vet 60+ riders you are required to be a British Cycling member and live within the South East Region. This will be detailed on the British Cycling membership card.

For under 8/10/12 there are support races and are open to all.

Entries will close at 11pm on Thursday 21st November, There is no entry on the day.

We will be using the numbers that you will have used for the Challenge Tires London and South East League races this season, so if you have entered a league race you simply need to enter in advance and no need to visit sign on. Only riders that have not raced in our league this season will need to visit sign on to collect their timing chip and jersey number pack.

Whilst in many ways this may have a look and feel like a London and South East League race there are a few key differences with this historic standalone event.

●       Winners get to call themselves the South East Regional Cyclo Cross Champion.

●       This is category A race which means more national ranking points for the riders looking to get a higher             grid position at national series events.

●       A published prize list and podium presentation on the day.

●       Different start times for all Youth Categories and Junior men

●       British Cycling Regional Medal for Top 3 in each category from Under 14 to Vet 60 plus categories.

●       Gridding for the race will be based on National ranking first and published after closing date.

With the regional medals these will be engraved with the event details and the riders name once the event completed to be presented at events later on in the season. On the day we will have a ceremonial set of medals to get that all important podium photo!
